Ingredients of Sindhi kadhi Chawal

  1. It's 3/4 cup of gram flour.
  2. You need 4 of medium size tomatoes(grind and puree).
  3. Prepare of Few Kadhi patta (curry leaves).
  4. It's 2 of potatoes cut into thick long slices.
  5. It's 1/2 cup of french beans chopped into big pieces.
  6. It's 1-2 of small brinjal cut into thick slices.
  7. Prepare 1 of medium onion cut into thick slices.
  8. You need 4-5 of medium sized bhindi cut into 2.
  9. It's 1 tsp of mustard seed,s.
  10. Prepare 1/2 tsp of methi seeds (fenu Greek seeds).
  11. You need to taste of Salt.
  12. You need 2 tsp of red chilli powder.
  13. It's 2 tsp of coriander powder.
  14. It's 2 tbsp of tamarind pulp or as required.
  15. It's 4 tbsp of oil or as required.
  16. You need leaves of Few Chopped coriander.

Sindhi kadhi Chawal instructions

  1. Heat oil in a wok. Put mustard seed,s when it splutter,s add methi seeds, curry leaves and stir. Add in gram flour,stir continuously on low to medium heat so that it should not get burnt. Fry till it turns golden brown. Immediately add tomato puree and mix.it will thicken add little water if necessary..
  2. Add salt red chilli powder.Now add water gradually, keep on stirring till it becomes thin consistency. Bring to a boil..
  3. Add in the cut vegetables and cook till they are done. Mix in tamarind pulp, coriander powder. cook for a minute and off the flame..
  4. Kadhi is ready to serve with Rice. (Kadhi consistency should not be very thick)..
