- You need 1 tbsp of cream cheese.
- You need 1/2 tbsp of sun-dried tomato paste.
- It's 3/4 tsp of wholegrain mustard.
- It's 1/4 tsp of runny honey.
- You need 1/2 of lemon, unwaxed for rind and juice only.
- It's 100 grams of best crab meat.
- You need 75 grams of smoked salmon slices ( 2 medium slices each).
- You need 1 of good pinch fresh cracked black pepper ..
- It's 1/4 of cucumber peeled with seeds taken out.
- You need 1 of handful blueberries.
- Prepare 2 of sprigs of Greek basil, mint or parsley ..
Sig's Smoked Salmon Twist step by step
- Mix the cream cheese with the sun dried tomato paste. I then add honey , mustard, lemon juice and rind, add the crabmeat and the black pepper . mix well..
- Lay the salmon flat in slices and add a little bit to each slice and roll into a cone or cigar shape ..
- Serve with the cucumber, blueberries and the green sprigs of choice..
- You may have some mixture over, refrigerate and use with in one day , if the crab is still within use by date as a sandwich spread..
- You can depending on size of salmon make parcels if you wish..
